If there's another sport that we in the United Kingdom are meant to be in love with aside from football, that sport would be fishing (and oh, it's our prerogative in this site to call fishing a sport). You see, our territory is blessed with thousands of pristine canals and rivers where we go boating with our families and friends during holidays. And since boating alone would be really boring for a holiday activity, we fish too. After all, during a boating activity, we are also moving in the place where the specie we can eat and have fun with called the fish "lives." Might as well milk the opportunity. Besides, we're by nature, opportunists (in a good way).

So, fishing sounds boring to you, huh? Well, if you're a part of the .0009% of the UK population who find boating boring, you should actually feel thankful that fishing was developed as a recreational activity. We mean, what else could be a better way to enjoy a peaceful holiday moment in the water aside from fishing? If you do want to enjoy water to the extremes, just go water boarding or anything else that's typically dangerous to the health.

But that's the problem, water can kill and you don't want to lose your life just for a "fun" vacation! Plus, after renting a not-so-cheap boat, fishing is your next best activity option -- it's affordable. What you just need are fishing rods and some fishing lures that aren't really that expensive. For the fishing rod, borrow your Grandpa's. You will only need to buy your fishing lures, but hey fishing lures are at least $5 a piece. Don't be too stingy!
